FAQs

What is copywriting?
Copywriting involves developing content from scratch. It's perfect when you need content, but have no idea where to start, what to say, or how to say it.

When you contact Heiste Communications for copywriting, we meet with you to discuss your project and your company, then take that information and create the content you need. It saves you the time and energy you'd otherwise spend creating content for copy editing.

What is editing?
Consider it a level of service between copywriting and proofreading. Copy editing takes existing content and makes it better. It's great when you know what you want to say, but you're not sure how to say it. And Heiste Communications can help.

Our editing service involves reviewing your existing content to ensure the wording truly delivers the correct message and works with the format and checking for grammatical errors as well. Then we edit the content to deliver a powerful message.

What is proofreading?
Proofreading is a general review of content to look for grammatical and spelling issues, along with a basic review of word choice. Consider it a second set of eyes that ensures the document you put in front of your client or prospect is as error-free as possible.

Many people rely on spelling and grammar checking software for proofreading, but it doesn't always know if you're using the right form of "there" or catch "wore" when you meant "work", but Heiste Communications does.

What is your experience?
Heiste Communications offers over 12 years of marketing, printing, and writing experience in the following industries:

• business and general aviation
